A same-day delivery in Accra should take about a minute to arrange. No account, no phone call, no back-and-forth over WhatsApp unless you want it. Here is the whole process, step by step.
Start with the booking form
Open Book A Delivery from the header of any page on the site. The form asks for two sets of details: where the parcel is coming from and where it is going. Use a landmark or a street name that a rider can find without calling you twice — "behind the Total station on the Spintex road" is more useful than a house number no one can see.
Add the receiver's name and phone number. That number is the one the rider calls at the gate, so make sure it is switched on and correct.
Tell us what is inside
The description and size fields are not paperwork. They tell the dispatch desk whether a motorbike can carry the parcel or whether it needs a car or a van. Documents, food, clothing and small electronics travel comfortably by bike. A fridge, a mattress or twelve cartons do not.
If the item is fragile, say so in the description. We seal and cushion parcels, but knowing there is glass inside changes how a rider straps the box down.
Check the fare before you confirm
Deliveries inside Accra use the Yenkor flat rate: GHS35 per delivery, regardless of the neighbourhood. Intercity deliveries are quoted by destination and weight. The fare you see on the form is the fare you pay — there is no surprise at the door.
You can pay by Mobile Money through the payment step or settle with the desk. If you choose Mobile Money, the payment page opens after the booking is confirmed and the receipt appears once the payment clears.
What happens after you press send
Your order is created with a tracking number beginning with NRO. Dispatch sees it immediately, confirms the fare and assigns a rider. The rider collects the parcel, seals it and starts the run.
You will get the receiver's confirmation when the parcel is handed over. If anything changes — the receiver steps out, the address was wrong, the parcel is bigger than described — call 0256035454 and quote the order number. Changes are easiest before the rider reaches the pickup point.
A few habits that keep same-day fast
- Book before 3pm for the widest choice of riders in Accra.
- Keep the sender's phone reachable at pickup time.
- Have the parcel sealed and labelled before the rider arrives.
- Send the tracking number to the receiver so they know what is coming.
- For multiple parcels to one address, say so in the description so one rider can carry them together.
Same-day works because both ends of the trip are clear. Fill the form honestly, keep both phone numbers on, and the rest is our job.
